We know that many of you have been waiting for the clay courts to be open, and now they are. And doubles play is now possible , with procedures for both your safety, and the staff's, in place. To be able to book courts, be sure to register with our new online system. It is always available from the top right of our menu bar at the top of this page - see "Member Login". For some guidance, please click here. And prior to coming to the Club to play, please remember to review the Club's revised Regulations for Play, in English and French. There has wonderful enthusiasm as our members have finally been able to hit the courts again, beginning with singles play for now. Please check back frequently, as we will provide updates here as they occur, specifcally for the opening of the clay courts, permission to play doubles, and news for the Junior Programs for 2020. Then click the following link to read the Club's new Regulations for Play, in English, or in French, as we open with special measures to protect all members and staff during the 2020 pandemic. Ontario just announced tennis clubs are allowed to re-open on Tuesday, May 19th, with limited access and services. RLTC will plan to re-open on Tuesday and more details will follow on this site in the next couple of days regarding fees, policies, and booking information. May 2nd

OTA Recommendations Regarding Playing Tennis As the weather improves it is tempting for players to try and play tennis, however for the safety and wellbeing of all, the OTA strongly advises that all players refrain from playing the sport during the health crisis related to Covid-19. For a more detailed statement from the OTA, click here. As well, in anticipation of some questions and to help clarify the OTA’s ever-changing role, we have developed a Q & A here. Please visit the site if you have any questions. Also, please click here to read a letter from OTA Executive Director Jim Boyce regarding an Advisory concerning Covid-19 first released on March 18. April 9th - Given the latest City of Ottawa guidance, all of the Club's facilities must unfortunately remain closed to any access until July 1st, or other further notice. Various levels of government, plus the NCTA have provided this information.

In a normal year, by March 31st, we would now be just a few sunny days from getting back out on the courts, as the picture below shows. For now, we can only wait and see what is allowed. Such a great season Zhenya, you really captured the kids energies, enthusiasm and heightened their skills. A solid two thumbs up from Ella and her Mom. Thank you Zhenya from T., me, Seb and Nico as well! They had an absolute blast playing with you and Ronan. Thank you both for your energy, great teaching, fun and motivation.
